Tim Boelaars is a creative director focused on building coherent visual ecosystems for brands.

He partners with organizations to translate strategy into distinctive visual languages that scale across identity, product, packaging, and motion.

With over 15 years of experience, Tim works at the intersection of direction and design. He defines principles, builds systems, and guides creative work from concept through implementation. His approach is grounded in clarity and reduction.

He brings structure to complexity by removing the unnecessary to create identities that are precise, recognizable, and built to last.

He develops brand architecture, creates modular design frameworks, and leads senior teams when projects demand it.

His role often continues beyond launch, ensuring systems remain coherent as companies evolve.

Tim works hands-on where it matters, but always with the perspective of a design leader: aligning creative decisions with business intent and product reality.

He is the founder of Plant22, a curated coworking community in Amsterdam for creative professionals.

In 2012, he was named a Young Gun by the Art Directors Club in New York.
